In the dark cover of the forest, under the a claw sliver of the moon, two figures were walking. Their tails twinded together.

“Pleased Burnedfoot, don’t leave me.” The golden she-cat said.

“I must Sunleaf,” The large tom whispered, “Our love will still be a secret. Starclan won’t even know.”

“But you’ll be leader!” Sunleaf cried, “I’ll never get to see you.”

“But now we’ll have even more time alone. And don’t you see Sunleaf. I can finally be leader! I’ve wanted to be leader all my life. It was your destiny to be a Medicine cat, and it’s my destiny to be the greatest leader of the forest.” The tom grew quiet and stopped. “Do you want me to prove to you that we’ll never be apart?”
